The general membership meeting for the month of November, 2008 will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at:

As is customary, and pursuant to the By-Laws, nominations for Board positions will be held at the November Lunch & Learn meeting, which begins at 10:00 a.m.

Also pursuant to By-Laws Article VII, individuals seeking election must have maintained membership in good standing in this Association for a minimum of two years.

Nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and appropriate Board of Directors vacancies must be made in person, from the floor at this meeting.  A nominee must have committed himself/herself to the nominating member to accept the nomination.

SCFIA Discontinues Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

The SCFIA Board of Directors voted to discontinue the AD&D insurance coverage for members, beginning in 2005.

Change in the Cost of Lunch & Learn Sessions

Due to circumstances beyond our control, effective July 7, 2005, the cost of the Lunch & Learn sessions will change from $15.00 to $20.00.

SCFIA College Scholarship

The Southern California Fraud Investigators' Association will be a one-time, partial college scholarship in the amount of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500) to a graduating high school senior.
